The electronic flap control HK-C is a compact development of the well-known JT-HK with the latest additions that increase usability without neglecting our well-known safety features.
As with JT-HK, all connections are available for an external button or the external remote display. Even the connection for a radio remote control is available in the device.
Newly added and unlike the previous model, we have now given the possibility to adjust the shut-off current when opened. With this function, a motor and gearbox gentle operation of the HK-C is possible.
A rotary switch with 4 positions allows the weight adjustment of the flap from under 1 kg to over 2.5 kg
Position 0 0.4 – 1.0 kg. Position 1: 1.0 – 1.5 kg. Position 2: 1.5 – 2.5 kg. Position 3 ≥ 2.5 kg
We have also adopted this very frequently used function from the previous model. Every chicken owner knows their ladies, each chicken has its own character. So it is even in the evening when it says „So girls off to the house“, but would like to stay one or the other, still a little outside.
To avoid having to adjust the light sensor values, you can set a delay of 30 minutes. Once the light value is reached, the flap remains open and waits for 30 minutes, so you can be sure that all chickens are in the barn.
The light sensor or Twilight sensor has pre-set values, which work best thanks to many years of experience. However, you can change the setting afterwards. As the installation location is crucial for this.
Different modules can improve usability and you can adjust the device to your needs. Because every hutch is different.
The automatic chicken flap or HK-C flap adjuster has an overload protection, which switches off when the slider is blocked or when the weight is too high. The HK-C is suitable for indoor or outdoor mounting and does not open in thunderstorms (lightning). For indoor mounting, an outdoor light sensor is required. To detect the flap condition from a distance when e.g. the flap around the corner, you can connect a remote display. Which is equipped with very bright LEDs, which shows you the condition open, closed or opened / closed by hand. Item no. : 142 cm
If your run is fenced or equipped with an aviary, you can use either an external button or a radio remote control. With both items, you can operate the flap control manually.

Open and close with an additional remote control
For manual operation of the automatic chicken flap or Flap actuator With the wireless remote control, you can open or close the flap control wirelessly. After operating the wireless remote control, a complete cycle must always be completed before the flap adjuster goes back into the automatic When ordering together with the flap actuator named devices, the wireless remote control is installed.
