How to Use

A matching ballast is required

Important. Bright Sun UV is a metal halide lamp technology. Metal halide lamps require a high ignition voltage to be able to light, this can only be produced with a matching ballast.

Socket and cable

Important. The ignition of the lamp produces high voltages, so you should only operate your Bright Sun UV with porcelain sockets and silicone cables that are designed for 300 watts.

Plug & Play

Do you have respect for electrical installation? Simply buy one of the Lucky Reptile „Pro“ products which are connected with a plug & play adapter which makes electrical installation unnecessary.

Spacing graphic construction

Robust glass reflector

The Bright Sun spotlights are equipped with a robust glass housing. Tests have shown that the heat is better bundled than a metal reflector. Lucky Reptile has decided to stay at the glass reflector despite the higher risk of transportation.

Lucky Reptile has printed spacer graphics on almost all lamp packaging, which is designed to make the decision for the lamp suitable for you.

The values have been determined under the same conditions. Ambient temperature of 25°C, measured value on a slate plate. The values have always been measured in the exact centre of the lamp.

We have taken all three parameters (UV, temperature and light output) into consideration for our distance recommendation to the animal. Please adhere to our recommendation for the well-being of your pet.
