JBL PRONOVO CORYDORAS TAB

Quality is the top priority for a healthy diet of aquarium inhabitants. JBL PRONOVO CORYDORAS TAB is a fish food that contains the highest quality ingredients salmon, krill, shrimp and spirulina. This leads to high acceptance and good digestibility. Armoured catfish are omnivors that absorb detritus (crushed organic matter) on or in the soil. This means that their food spectrum extends over almost everything that can be found in natural waters. In the JBL Pronovo Corydoras, this is taken into account in the composition with plant and animal ingredients.

Way of life of tank catfish

Armoured catfish are soil dwelling fish species from South America looking for food with their barbells on or in the ground. Therefore, the substrate must not be coarse and never sharp. They like to live sociably (except C. acutus) and are peaceful.

How can you proceed when you care for different soil inhabitants in an aquarium?

You can easily use two different types of tablets (e.g. JBL PRONOVO CORYDORAS for armoured catfish and JBL PRONOVO BOTIA for loach) at the same time. It is even positive for the fish, as they are offered more variety and yet every group of fish comes to their species-appropriate diet.

High-quality raw materials

No cheap fish meal is processed during production. JBL also uses only fish meat that remains during fillet production. So no fish need to be caught for food production. The optimal, balanced feed mixtures made from high-quality ingredients are created by the results of JBL research expeditions and the knowledge of the JBL research and development team.

Tablets and wafers: The differences

Feed tablets made from fine flake or granulate feed are mechanically pressed together. Wafers, on the other hand, are thinly cut from a porridge and a „endless sausage“ pressed from the extruder and then dried. The diameter of this „sausage“ then results in the diameter of the wafer. In production, wafers can be made harder than food tablets, so that they can be used e.g. Suction catfish even after some waiting time (until it gets dark) are still available as a „hard“ food for grating.
